LABOUM won its first music-show trophy with “Hwi Hwi” on Music Bank on April 28, 2017, beating IU 4,546 to 4,165. Viewers questioned the result; Music Bank explained that the chart week came before IU’s album release, so she scored no physical album points, and said a result based on data could not be changed. The members later said they stood blankly at the announcement, and some cried.
